Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Guide

2026 dates, ticket prices, hours and what to do at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom, plus tips for planning the next season.

What is Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and how does it work?

It is a separate-ticket evening event at Magic Kingdom. In 2026 it ran on 38 select nights from August 7 to October 31, with tickets from $119 to $229 per person plus tax. Dates for the next season had not been announced when this was reviewed.

The party is a ticketed event inside Magic Kingdom. It is separate from daytime admission, so you need a party ticket even if you hold a park ticket for the same day.

What was new in 2026

  • A new stage show, A Masquerade with Stitch, at Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland.
  • New and returning villains appearing around the park.
  • The Boo-To-You Parade, which ran twice a night, and the Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks, once a night.

How to plan a night

  1. Choose the date by price and crowd. August and early September cost less and tend to feel lighter. October Saturdays and Halloween night cost the most.
  2. Use the 4:00pm entry. Rides are quieter before the event starts. Eat dinner early so you are not queuing for food during the parade.
  3. Pick up the party map. It lists show, parade, character and candy station times.
  4. Treat trails are worth the walk. The villain and character stops hidden along them often have shorter lines than the standard meet-and-greets.
  5. Bring a candy bag. Candy lines are usually short, especially later in the evening.
  6. Plan the next day. Midnight finishes make for a slow morning, so avoid scheduling a rope drop right after.

Costumes

Costumes are part of the fun, but Disney sets rules on masks and costume style. Read the current costume policy on Disney's party page before you pack.

Planning the next season

Disney has typically announced party dates in the spring and sold tickets soon after. Every date has sold out in recent years, so if you want a specific night, tell your advisor early and we will watch for the on-sale date. Ask about stay packages, because some resorts and ticket combinations affect early-entry perks.
