What is a good 7-day Disney World itinerary?
Use seven days to visit each park once or twice, add a resort or water park day and keep mornings for rides and afternoons for rest. It is the most relaxed pace for families.
A week lets you slow down. You can repeat your favorite park, see the evening shows and add rest days.
The plan
| Day | Plan |
|---|---|
| 1 | Arrive, check in, dinner and a resort walk |
| 2 | Magic Kingdom, morning rides, midday break, night fireworks |
| 3 | EPCOT, rides in the morning and World Showcase in the evening |
| 4 | Resort day: pool, a boat ride, Disney Springs |
| 5 | Hollywood Studios, early start, indoor rides afternoon |
| 6 | Animal Kingdom, safari and Pandora |
| 7 | Choose: repeat Magic Kingdom or EPCOT, or a lighter morning and departure |
Tips
- Pick a rest day after two park days in a row.
- Use the 30-minute resort early entry on your biggest-ride days.
- Book dining for a mix: one special meal, one character meal and simple counter-service lunches.
- Check water park status. Typhoon Lagoon was closed for its seasonal refurbishment in October 2026, and Blizzard Beach is expected to close in early 2027.
- Skip a Lightning Lane purchase on quieter days. See the Lightning Lane guide.
